Where to stay in Tuas

About Tuas

Positioned at the junction of the Johor and Singapore straits, Tuas is a maritime-focused town home to a naval base, one of Singapore’s premier brewing companies and a waterfront country club. Tuas provides rich insight into Singapore’s military history and future, while also giving you direct access into Malaysia across the Second Link Expressway.

Things to do

Begin your exploration around Tuas with a guided tour of the Tiger Brewery. This 45-minute tour takes you through the brewing process and includes tastings of the Tiger beer at the end. Afterwards, walk over to the nearby Archipelago Brewery for a taste of some boutique beers, including an Irish Ale, Belgian Wit and Bohemian Lager.

Fancy a day out on the links? Head to Raffles Country Club and tee off on one of two 18-hole championship golf courses hugging the water’s edge. You can also use the state-of-the-art gym, tennis and squash courts, swimming pool, sauna or slot machines. Sip on New Zealand and French wines at The Albatross Lounge or indulge in delicious Asian cuisine at Fukuya Japanese Restaurant or Fu Lin Men.

To admire the waterfront and views across to Malaysia, head to Raffles Marina to see luxury yachts and visit the popular Marina Bistro for casual drinks and cosmopolitan fare. Afterwards, drive 10 minutes to the Army Museum of Singapore to see decommissioned military vehicles and interactive war exhibits.

Cross the bridge in Tuas to Malaysia for an easy day trip to LEGOLAND Malaysia. Here you can ride LEGO-themed rides, meet characters, watch family-friendly shows and indulge in sweets.

Getting around

Tuas is serviced by four MRT stations, which provide easy transport around town and to the rest of Singapore. You can also walk to many of the major sights or catch taxis to get around.
