Things to do in St. George's

Built in 1705 by the French, Fort George is a 18th-century fort located in the city centre. Arrive at the fort early in the morning to avoid the crowds and spend time reading up on the history of its construction and exploring the grounds.

If you’ve packed your walking boots, take the three-hour hike to St Margaret's Falls, also known as the Seven Sister Falls. These beautiful cascading waterfalls are located north-east of the city and can be reached by car in under 30 minutes.

History buffs should head to the Grenada National Museum, located in St. George’s city centre. With a variety of items on display, such as Caribbean and Arawak artefacts, you can learn about the area’s history and development over the decades.

Grenada is home to one of the world’s first underwater sculpture parks, which is located at the Moliniere Beausejour Marine Protected Area, just off the shores of St George’s. Take a scuba diving or snorkelling tour to the sculptures to witness the man-made park and its marine inhabitants.
