Kennedy International Airport just outside of New Jersey in New York can also be a viable option as it operates more flight routes from international destinations. Philadelphia International Airport is an additional option and runs flights to and from around the world including Europe and the Middle East. The state has extensive public transportation networks that make getting around easy. The NJ Transit bus network operates all over the state, while there are also multiple train networks from New York and Philadelphia.
Despite its relatively small size, New Jersey is one of the most populous states in the United States and has played an important part in its history, including being the site of many crucial battles during the American Revolutionary War.
